Alistair Overeem body transformation with Steroids
It is a known fact that bodybuilders, athletes, kickboxers, use steroids as their bright careers not only depend on their hard work and talents but also mainly on their physical appearance and muscle strength. Everyone knows that tremendous changes can appear in sports stars bodies in a very short period of time only when they use steroids. These sportsmen/women, get criticized if they are got caught using steroids. So they don’t agree with the truth that they are using steroids. Even popular kickboxer and MMA fighter Alistair Cees Overeem got criticized for using steroids like Trenbolone.
Alistair Overeem born on 17 May 1980 at Hounslow, England is a famous Dutch mixed martial arts fighter who has gained great popularity and earned many heavyweight titles in his career. At the age of 17 years, he had his first professional kickboxing fight in a K-1 rules fight on November 15, 1997. In the year 2012, Alistair Overeem underwent a drug test before a UFC champ Junior Dos Santos fight. Unfortunately, he failed in this test, it is found that testosterone levels in Alistair Overeem body were very high and such a high levels of testosterone cannot be considered natural. So UFC suspended Alistair Cees Overeem temporarily and found a replacement for him. On this issue, Alistair Overeem argued and made his statement that he had been given an anti-inflammatory drug with added testosterone by his doctor. He also claimed that the cocktail was used to help to heal his rib cage injury. However, all his excuses were quashed by the UFC and they have suspended him for almost nine months.
At that time, many discussions have taken place on this matter and many blamed Alistair Overeem’s doctor as he would have known that Alistair being a kickboxer should undergo blood tests before the competition and this would risk his career. Alistair Overeem gained a lot of lean muscle during 2005 and 2012 but after his suspension period, Alistair had lost a lot of weight and had low testosterone levels. All these points made everyone to make a conclusion that Alastair had surely taken steroids as low testosterone is a common side effect of finishing a steroid cycle. It is also very clear that using steroids would have allowed Alistair Overeem to have an advantage over his opponents as by using steroids, he got incredible muscle mass, great power and more weight that adds a big advantage in the fight. Even an increase in aggression could be a great beneficial factor for him in his fighting.
Above discussed points clearly, represents that Alistair Overeem must have used a steroid that led to increased testosterone levels. That means it was likely something like Dianabol or Dbol steroid which increases testosterone levels via the androgen receptors. There is also another assumption that Alistair Overeem would have used a bulking steroid like Trenbolone and might have stacked it with multiple steroids as Trenbolone is the most powerful steroid that is mostly used by bodybuilders and athletes to increase both muscle and strength gains. However, there is no perfect proof on Overeem using steroids and whether all of his achievements were made possible only by steroids.
